Note S-Max can be attached to most common manual wheelchairs. The stand-alone unit can navigate most common stairway designs but will need the wheelchair wheels to be removed.
If the staircase is wide enough, addition of the Universal Rack to the S-Max power unit means the wheelchair can be moved up and down stairs without modification.
