Within a week and a half from initial contact by Ocupational Therapist, requesting help with urgent discharge home; AAT together with South Tyneside Council, completed assessment at 2 sites, approved order and delivered stairclimber and training on it to the family members.
This is a great example of how Local Authorities and Manufactures by working together can improve quality of life.
